Transforming a TV Room into a Dream Fitness Space in the Clouds.
The Brief
An avid skier wanted to transform the TV room in their Aspen home into a functional gym for family and guests on non-skiing days. Given the home’s minimalist aesthetic with grey and white tones, the challenge was to incorporate strength and cardio equipment without making the space feel cluttered.
Since the gym opens into the dining and living areas, the design prioritized sleek, space-efficient equipment. With frequent guests, the client also wanted a diverse range of weights and machines to accommodate different fitness needs while maintaining a clean and cohesive look.
The Proposal
1. Strength: This gym with such a gorgeous view deserved the PENT. Banka and Bystra exercise bench and barbell set. Additionally, the PENT. Combo Ana, which includes equipment like dumbbells and yoga gear as part of its elegant wooden design, added both functionality and a stunning visual element to the space.
2. Cardio: We recommended NOHRD Sprintbok curved manual treadmill and the Stil-fit flow one, a water rower that uses water resistance to offer a full-body workout while being gentle on the joints. To complete the setup, we included the unique Ciclotte exercise bike in white.
3. Mobility: For mobility and flexibility we suggested PENT. MATA handcrafted leather yoga mat, which provides superior comfort and durability, making it ideal for yoga and mobility exercises.
