Luxury and Movement: Crafting a Wellness Retreat Gym

An all-in-one Wellness Retreat

The Brief

This wellness retreat was designed to offer guests a luxurious, all-in-one fitness experience that matches the elegance of the property. The client wanted a space where every guest, regardless of their workout preference, could feel inspired to move - whether that’s strength, cardio, high-intensity training, or mobility work.

They envisioned distinct zones for strength, cardio, mobility, and boxing, but with a cohesive flow that feels intentional, airy, and spacious. Warm tones and natural light were key to creating a welcoming, calm atmosphere, ensuring the gym feels as inviting as it is functional.

Proposal

1. Strength: The strength zone is positioned along a full-height mirrored wall, allowing users to check their form while visually enlarging the space. This area features the PENT. Banka exercise bench and the PENT. Bystra bench press set for foundational lifts. To enhance versatility, we included the PENT. Colmia dumbbell set, PENT. Lova kettlebells, PENT. Lina battle rope, and PENT. Moxa medicine ball, all displayed on custom shelving that keeps the space organised and visually refined.

2. Cardio: Cardio equipment is placed along the glass wall beneath the arches, maximising natural light and airflow. The PENT. Irena curved manual treadmill delivers a natural, self-powered running experience, while the PENT. Hania stationary bike offers a compact yet powerful ride.

3. Mobility: The mobility zone is anchored by the sculptural PENT. Scala wallbar, which functions as both a design feature and versatile training tool. Complementary accessories include yoga mats and blocks, balance trainers, the PENT. Lipova push-up bar, foam rollers, the PENT. Mesna fitness ball, and skipping ropes—supporting everything from flexibility and core stability to functional mobility work.

4. Boxing: For boxing, we integrated the PENT. Raxa premium boxing bag, paired with handcrafted PENT. gloves. Durable yet elegantly finished, these pieces deliver intensity and precision while maintaining the sophistication of the overall design.
